Ambikapur: Addressing the huge crowd at the BJP's election rally in Ambikapur of Chhattisgarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, without naming Nirmal Baba, "You must have seen a baba appearing on TV who asks, 'Pakode khaate ho?' Pakode khao , kripa ho jaayegi ! (Do you eat pakodas? Eat it. God will bless you)'"

To make sure people understand what he was getting at, Modi gave another example: "Drink milk. God will bless you!"

Modi said that the Congress was behaving in a similar manner. He said the opposition knew that there was no chance of their coming to power. So, he said, the Congress was saying just any wild thing that crosses their mind. For, he said, they did not have to fulfil the promises.
