Kejriwal said, "48 hours before the election, the momentum was in AAP’s favour, but at the last minute, all the Muslim vote got shifted to Congress."
New Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal, Aam Aadmi Party chief, is well known for crying foul and for his propaganda politics on social media. He has emerged on the weaker side of the blame games that have been an integral part of the political scenario.
The AAP is contesting on all 13 seats going to polls in Punjab on May 19 and was also seen campaigning in Raipura, Punjab.
Speaking to a newspaper, Kejriwal said that the Muslim vote swung to Congress at the last moment during the Delhi Lok Sabha polls. But when he was asked about the situation Delhi he said, “Let us see what happens. Actually, 48 hours before the election, the momentum was in AAP’s favour, but at the last minute, all the Muslim vote got shifted to Congress, and we are now trying to figure out what happened exactly?
Arvind Kejriwal appears very confident for the Delhi assembly elections which are scheduled early next year. He said that the work AAP has done speaks for itself in Delhi and the people will vote based on that.
Speaking about the Lok Sabha results, the AAP supremo said, “If they do not tamper with the EVMs, Modi ji should not come back… but I do not know whether they would do it or not.”
“If the Union government is minus Modi and Shah, we will support the government on the pre-condition of statehood for Delhi”, he added about a possible coalition situation.
