During Navratri, the Goddess Durga is worshipped in nine different forms. The second of these is that of Goddess Brahmacharini. This year, in Chaitra Navratri 2024, the ceremony of worship of Maa Brahmacharini (Maa Brahmacharini Puja) is going to take place on April 10, 2024.

On the second day of Navratri, the mother is worshipped in her Brahmacharini form. This type of version is thought to promote intelligence, understanding, and wisdom.

According to folklore, Maa Brahmacharini was adopted as a daughter in the house of King Himalaya in her former life. Then, under Narad's guidance, she underwent an exceptionally arduous penance to gain Lord Shankar as her husband.

It is also proven that those who wish to improve their artistic abilities should worship this version of Mother Goddess. Because honoring Mother Brahmacharini not only improves a person's skills but also brings calm to their minds.

Here is how to worship Mata Brahmacharini and how you can serve her in Prasad.

Method of worship of Mother Brahmacharini:
The significance of a mother's form can be derived solely from her name. Brahmacharini is the mother who performs sacrifices.

All the worship rules are the same. After you wake up in the morning and take a bath, keep the shop tidy, and adore the Mother Goddess. Flowers, akshat, sandalwood, fruits, roli, cloves, betel leaves, and betel nuts are also deemed defect-free.

First of all, keep the idol of Mother Brahmacharini near the Kalash. First of all, bathe the mother with Panchamrit, then put the roli, akshat, chandan, etc. with the goddess.
While worshiping Mother Brahmacharini, use only hibiscus or lotus flowers. Offer a fragrant betel leaf to the mother; recite Durga Saptahati and Durga Chalisa.
Add camphor to white sandalwood, burn it, cool it, and perform the aarti of Maa Brahmacharini with its smoke.

Maa Brahmacharini Bhog:
On the second day of Navratri, sugar, white sweets, or sugar candy are traditionally offered to Mother Brahmacharini.

On this day, sugar sweets, milk, and panchamrit should be served. By presenting these items, the devotee is rewarded with a long life. Along with this, one gains health.
