Virat Kohli and his teammates will sport orange jerseys at the ICC World Cup 2019 in England and Wales. Here is the reason why India's 'men in blue' will be in orange during the 10-team tournament
New Delhi: The ICC World Cup 2019 will break new ground as the International Cricket Council (ICC) is set to adopt football-style home and away jerseys for teams at this year's showpiece event.
According to a report in The New Indian Express, ICC will introduce home and away jerseys for teams at this year's 10-team tournament to be played in England and Wales from May 30 to July 14.

It is a practice in football for sides to wear home and away kits. Now, it will be adopted in cricket World Cup too. It will make its debut in the United Kingdom.
The Virart Kohli-led Indian team will wear away jerseys when they play hosts England and also against Afghanistan. This will be because India, England, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan have blue kits.

As per reports, India will wear away kits for England and Afghanistan matches only. The new kits are yet to be unveiled. It is likely to be orange-coloured jersey for Kohli and his men.
India left for England on Tuesday (May 21) and landed in London the next day. On Thursday (May 23) they started training. Kohli posted pictures the team’s practice in London.
Before the tournament starts, India will play two warm-up matches, against New Zealand (May 25) and Bangladesh (May 28).

Prior to the team’s departure from Mumbai, Kohli had declared that it would his “most challenging” World Cup. He said spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal would be the “two pillars” of the Indian bowling attack.

For Kohli, this will be his third 50-over World Cup at the senior level. He was part of the winning squad in 2011 and in the last edition, India reached the semi-final. Kohli had led India to Under-19 World Cup glory in 2008.
Dhoni, who took India to 2011 World Cup title, in all likelihood, will be playing in his last ICC event.
