India will be without Rohit Sharma for the ODIs and Tests against New Zealand. He has sustained a calf injury
Mount Maunganui (New Zealand): Ahead of the ODI and Test series against New Zealand, India have been dealt a huge blow. Rohit Sharma has been ruled out of both series, according to a report.
As per news agency PTI, a BCCI source confirmed that Rohit will not be available for three ODIs and two Tests.

“He is out of the tour,” a top BCCI source told PTI on condition of anonymity.
Yesterday (February 2), India completed a 5-0 whitewash over New Zealand in the T20Is. Rohit was the stand-in skipper as Virat Kohli was rested. However, Rohit got injured and KL Rahul led the side.

Right-handed opening batsman Rohit had to retire hurt after scoring 60 off 41 balls. He pulled his calf muscle while attempting a run in the fifth T20I in Mount Maunganui.
