Vikrant Massey will soon be seen 'Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba' and 'The Sabarmati Report'.

Vikrant Massey is one of the most talented and versatile actors in India. He is among the top contenders for the National Film Award this year for his powerful performance in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 12th Fail. His work in the film was not just praised by the audience but also by the critics. Vikrant depicted the role of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma.

In an interview with HindustanTimes, Vikrant Massey opened up about his state of mind ahead of the 70th National Film Awards' announcement. He said, “Let’s see. Abhi main kya hi bol sakta hoon. I don’t want to jinx it by talking about it too much.”

Talking about the nomination, Vikrant said, “To be considered [for the award] in an annual year where many performances stood out and were respected, and people really thought of these performances as good performances... I think I’m already in a good club so I’m happy about that."

The 37-year-old feels humbled by all the praises. Talking about all the attention he is getting from the audience, Vikrant said, “As much as people are talking about me winning the National Award, there were some incredible performances last year. What Vicky (Kaushal) did in Sam Bahadur was phenomenal. The time and amount of hard work he put in for that film was phenomenal, and I know because (director) Meghna Gulzar is also a very dear friend of mine,” he continues, “It was actually a great year for so many artists. What Fahaad (Faasil) did in Aavesham was as good as what Prithviraj did in Goat Life. I am glad to be considered with such fine actors."

Vikrant Massey will soon be seen Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba and The Sabarmati Report.
