The Zoya Factor starring Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan has will now release on September 20, as per reports
Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor is back in business after ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’, with her new movie The Zoya Factor, co-starring Malayalam actor Dulqeer Salmaan.
The official poster of the movie was launched recently. Sonam had unveiled the poster of the film on August 26, 2018. The upcoming movie will also star Sanjay Kapoor. The movie is based on Anuja Chauhan’s bestselling novel ‘The Zoya Factor’. The film is directed by Abhishek Sharma.
The Zoya Factor marks Dulqeer Salmaan’s second project in Bollywood. He made his debut in the 2018 film ‘Karwaan’ starring Irrfan Khan.
The film was previously set to be released on June 14, but the filmmakers announced that the date would change.
The makers of the film announced the date on social media with a post that stated, “The date may have changed, but the game hasn’t. #TheZoyaFactor will hit cinemas on Sep 20, 2019. starring @sonamakapoor & @dulQuer, directed by #AbhishekSharma. #AdlabsFilms.”
The Zoya factor is the story of a Rajput girl, Zoya Singh Solanki (Sonam Kapoor), who works as an executive in an advertising agency and gets the opportunity to meet the Indian cricket team. She becomes the lucky charm for the team in the 2011 Cricket World Cup. Eventually Zoya falls for skipper Nikhil Khoda who doesn’t believe in superstition and luck.
The romantic drama by Abhishek Sharma is all set to release on September 20, the film is produced by Fox Star Studios and Adlabs Films.
