Salman Khan had set May 27, 1994 as wedding date, but was not sure of the bride

Salman Khan once wanted to marry, and the date was fixed, wedding cards were also printed with the date mentioned May 27, 1994
 

Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who is never seen speaking about his personal life and his affairs, had once opened up about his marriage and the woman he wanted to get married to.

Today, we found an old interview, where Salman Khan had revealed that he wanted to marry Sangeeta Bijlani. In an interview with the magazine Stardust, when Salman was asked about tying the knot, the actor had said, "Yes, I plan to marry. When the time comes, I will.''
Then he was asked who will be the lucky girl, Sangeeta Bijlani? To that he gave an indirect answer saying, "It could be Sangeeta (Bijlani) or anybody else."

 

According to a leading web portal, Salman Khan and Sangeeta were in love and had finalised their wedding dates too. In Salman's biography, Being Salman, penned by Jasim Khan, it was revealed, ''Salman and Sangeeta were planning to tie the knot on May 27, 1994, but suddenly the event was called off.''

Salman Khan and Sangeeta Bijlani:
In the popular chat show Koffee with Karan, Salman had confessed that he was almost about to marry Sangeeta Bijlani and that the wedding cards were also printed. However, Sangeeta called off the wedding because she caught him red-handed with another woman. 

 



Karan Johar had asked Salman, "Did she (Sangeeta) catch you?" Salman replied by saying, "Yeah kind of..." He added, "I got caught, I am stupid. I don't get caught nowadays as I lie. I just deny the whole thing, I just lie. I swear.''

Salman also said that he is not ready to get into a relationship as he can't commit, "I also tell people that if you want to get into a relationship right now, I'm not ready for any serious commitment. I'm not the correct person to be with the way I'm right now," Salman said.
