Ram Charan makes history as the first Indian to win the IFFM 2024 Ambassador Award for Indian Art And Culture

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) has announced global icon Ram Charan as the Guest of Honor for the 15th edition. The annual celebration is set to be held in Australia and this time Ram Charan will bring his irresistible star power to the prestigious event. The IFFM hosted by the Victorian State Government will begin from August 15 to August 25, 2024. 

Ram Charan's RRR smashed all the box office records and solidified his position as a superstar across the globe. The movie not only made rounds around the world but also brought India boundless pride by winning the Oscar for Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu in 2023. 

Ram Charan hails from a film family with his father Chiranjeevi being the Mega Star in the South Indian film industry. Ram Charan's contribution to the Indian film industry is impeccable and his achievements will shine bright at this year's IFFM.

Ram will receive the title of 'Ambassador for Indian Art and Culture' in addition to being the Guest of Honor. It is for his contribution to the film industry and his stellar line of work. The event will also host a retrospective of his notable films and roles to celebrate his outstanding journey in the industry so far.

On the work front, Ram Charan is all set to dive into his next projects Game Changer with Kiara Advani, RC16 with Janhvi Kapoor, and RC17 directed by Pushpa director Sukumar.
