Shocking news has surfaced on the internet where a jewelry brand has accused actress and influencer Avneet Kaur of cheating and non-payment. The brand named 'RANG' made a long post on its official Instagram page exposing its side of the story and accusing Avneet of cheating and not paying for the jewelry pieces provided by the brand. The post mentions a 'verbal commitment', where the actress was supposed to mention and tag the brand on her Instagram post while wearing the jewelry. However, the actress refused to do so and said she would pay for the jewelry pieces but did not make any payments to the business.
"Avneet Kaur, actress and influencer, sourced jewellery from our brand RANG, for her recent trip to Europe. There was a verbal commitment with her stylist in exchange for wearing our pieces during her travels. Avneet agreed to tag RANG in her social media posts. On June 29, 2024, we sent her a selection of 9 exquisite pieces including a double floral earrings, twisted loop handcuff bracelet and leaf motif earrings. Trusting that she would follow through this commitment,” the statement on Instagram read.
The post further mentions how Avneet did not pay for the jewelry and declined to pay for it as she has not worn it for more than 10 times. The brand also shared in the statement, "The stylist said she spoke to Avneet, who agreed to credit our brand in a different post with another outfit. However, when Avneet posted again, she still did not give credit. We then messaged the stylist once more, asking why Avneet hadn't credited our brand. Avneet replied to the stylist, saying: "Hey I'll pay them How much is it" We responded by explaining that it wasn't about the money but about sticking to what was decided and the reason we sourced the jewellery for Avneet."
The brand also shared that Avneet initially agreed to pay for the jewelry however when the company sent her invoices, Avneet refused to pay.
