Despite marriage rumours, the hottest couple in B-town, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are not in a rush to start staying together.

Mumbai: There was a time when actor Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif made headlines after setting up a lovers nest in the heart of Mumbai. Their breakup resulted in an unsavoury moving out and  Kapoor ended up staying in a bachelor pad decorated by none other than Gauri Khan. However, looks like the actor is not taking any chance with his current lady love, Alia Bhatt.

Due to Rishi Kapoor's health issues, actor Ranbir Kapoor now planned to move back into his parents home to be closer with his family. Earlier, it was reported that Ranbir would be moving in with his girlfriend, actor Alia Bhatt. There were reports of the couple even looking out for houses to invest in together. There are also rumours doing the rounds that the couple is planning to tie the knot after their upcoming movie together, Brahmastra.

An Asian Age report quoted a friend of the actor as saying, “The recent circumstances (father Rishi Kapoor’s illness) has brought Ranbir close to his father. He wants to spend maximum time with his parents.” According to the Deccan Chronicle report, Rishi Kapoor has been recovering in New York and his bond with son has become stronger, which wasn't the case earlier.

In an earlier interview with Mumbai Mirror, Rishi Kapoor had expressed his grief when Ranbir moved out of their home to live with his ex-lover Katrina Kaif. "My father gave me space when I moved out after marriage and I give Ranbir his space too when he decided to move out and share a home with his girlfriend. In this house, he had one room: how could that be enough for a 33-year-old boy?" he had said in that interview.

He also said, "He's a great son, he listens to me but I don't interfere in his career because my career is mine and he is his. I know I've screwed up my relationship with Ranbir even though my wife kept telling me about what I was doing. It's now too late to change it; both of us will not be able to adjust to the change."

During January, reports suggested Alia purchased her own home, paid double the asking price for in Juhu, leading to speculation that the couple might be planning a future together. But, Alia dismissed these reports saying, “Nothing of the sort. It is a place I’ve bought as my office space. Yes, I’ve started my own production house. I’ve named it Eternal Sunshine Productions. Do you like it?”
