In an old interview, Sridevi had revealed that her daughter Janhvi Kapoor saw Sadma and didn't talk to the actress for three days.

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor loved watching her mother Sridevi on-screen. However, there is one movie of her mother that impacted Janhvi so much that she stopped talking to Sridevi.

In an old interview with a daily, Sridevi said, "Janhvi saw Sadma when she was around six years old and she didn't talk to me for three days.''

Sridevi further added, ''She told me, ‘You are a bad mumma. You were so mean to him’ (Kamal Haasan's character).''

In the same interview, Sridevi also expressed her wish to see Janhvi married, but said that it was her daughter’s choice that had priority, “As a parent, it would give me great joy to see her married. But her happiness matters more, and if she does well as an actress, I will be a proud mother. We are like friends and spend a lot of time together. Our routine is always centred around each other.''

However, unfortunately, Sridevi was not able to see her daughter’s first movie, Dhadak. It was in its last phase of shooting when the diva died due to accidental drowning in a hotel bathtub in Dubai. Despite her mother's sudden demise, Janhvi finished shooting her debut film Dhadak on time.
