After a year of marriage with Ranveer Singh, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone feels she would have been very happy to marry a South Indian guy

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. Their chemistry on and off-screen gives us couple goals.

Last month, Deepika and Ranveer celebrated their first anniversary at Tirupati Balaji temple first and then at the Golden Temple, Amritsar. They have been seen holding hands and posing for the camera along with some cute PDA, which make the pictures more beautiful.

Their anniversary pictures and videos went viral on the internet as soon as they were shared on social media. A few days ago, Film Companion had a round table conference where a few actors gathered to discuss about great performances of the decade. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh attended too.

During the chit chat, Deepika revealed how she and her husband Ranveer met and that she always thought that he was from Delhi and was shocked to know that he was from Bandra to which Ranveer funnily replied, Tthat's what got her hooked." And to this, Deepika immediately responded by saying, "I would have been very happy with a south Indian guy," and laughs off. Timely Ranveer's reply: "Just wait for two days, I'm going to Tirupati in a dhoti!"

On the work front, Ranveer Singh is busy filming 83, while Deepika will be next be seen in Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak, which is slated to hit the screens on January 10, 2020.
