"RAJJO is back! From Dabangg, to Dabangg 3... It's homecoming. Day 1 of shoot for me today, wish me luck @BeingSalmanKhan @arbaazSkhan @PDdancing," Sonakshi wrote alongside her photo from the film sets.

"Arbaaz Khan and I have just landed in Indore where we were both born and we are going to Mandleshwar and Maheshwar to shoot for 'Dabangg 3' where our grandfather was posted when he was in the police force," Salman said in a video shared on Twitter. The first part, which released in 2010, was directed by Abhinav Kashyap and actor-producer Arbaaz turned director with part two.

Indian film critic Taran Adarsh shared on his Twitter handle. Although, he didn't mention the release date of the film. "Shoot begins today... Salman Khan returns as Chulbul Pandey in #Dabanng3... Directed by Prabhu Dheva," he tweeted. The clapper board read 'Muhurat'.
