Jason also talked about how doing Jhansi ki Rani changed his life and brought him success, however, he has learned that money and fame don't last long.
Heeramandi actor Jason Shah recently had a candid conversation in a podcast where he opened up about his addictions and his 'difficult' journey navigating through them. In an interview on the YouTube channel Shardulogy, Jason Shah talked about how he struggled with alcohol and smoking addiction. Jason also revealed his sex addiction and said, ‘Worst decisions were made when it felt good.’
Talking about his addiction and coming out, Jason said, "It was alcohol. I was smoking about two and a half packs a day. I can definitely say I was addicted to women. It was a sex addiction which was very difficult for me. I think it was one of the bigger ones to leave.”
Jason was asked about his efforts and how he came out of it, he said, “God is so good and his grace is so sufficient for me that his love just overrode everything. It’s not easy, it is tough because you have to say no. There’s that funda that if it feels good, do it. But I have realized that that is probably the worst advice that you could give anybody. From my life, I would say, my worst decisions were made when it felt good. What I say now is, if it feels good, think about it.”
Jason also talked about how doing Jhansi ki Rani changed his life and brought him success, however, he has learned that money and fame don't last long. Jason is currently basking in the success of Heeramandi: The Diamond Baazar, a Netflix series directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Jason's work has been praised by the critics and audience and the second season of the show has also been announced last month.
