Umesh Yadav is an Indian cricketer. On 28 May 2010, he made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe at Bulawayo. He has played for Delhi Daredevils and Kolkata Knight Riders IPL teams.

Umesh Yadav is an Indian cricketer. He was born on 25 October 1987 in Nagpur, Maharashtra. His zodiac sign is Scorpio. He did his schooling from Rajkiya Senior Secondary School, Valani. 

His father, Tilak Yadav works in the Coal Department. His mother, Kishori Devi is homemaker. He has two brothers and a sister.

Before becoming a professional cricketer, Umesh Yadav appeared for India Army and Police Forces exams. He could not clear any of them. 

Umesh Yadav started playing in local cricket tournaments and got the opportunity of working with Vidarbha Gymkhana. 

On 28 May 2010, Umesh Yadav made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe at Bulawayo. 

He played his first test match against West Indies in Delhi.

In the ICC World Cup 2015, he took most number of wickets and set the record at 18 wickets.
