Sachin Pilot is an Indian politician. After completing his studies abroad, he returned to India and officially joined the Indian National Congress in the year 2002. He served as the Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan from 2018 to 2020.

After completing his studies abroad, Sachin Pilot returned to India. He officially joined Indian National Congress in the year 2002. 

In 2004, he was elected to the 14th Lok Sabha in the year and became a member of the Lok Sabha Standing Committee in Home Affairs. Sachin Pilot was the youngest person to be elected to the Indian Parliament at the age of 26.

In the year 2006, he was appointed as a member of the Consultative Committee in the Ministry of Civil Aviation.

He became the Union Minister of State for Communications and IT after winning in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections from Ajmer constituency. 

Sachin Pilot became the Union Minister of State for Corporate Affairs in the year 2012 and he served his term till 2014.

In September 2012, Sachin Pilot became the first Union Minister of India to be appointed as an officer in the Territorial Army.

He was elected to the Rajasthan Assembly from Tonk constituency in 2018. With his election, he became the youngest Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan. Due to internal conflict in the Congress party, he had to resign from his position in 2020.

Since 2018, Sachin Pilot has been representing the Tonk seat in Rajasthan Legislative Assembly.
