Rishi Kapoor was a popular Indian actor. He was born on 4 September 1952 in Chembur, Mumbai, Maharashtra. He died on 30 April 2020 in Mumbai. He did his schooling from Champion School, Mumbai. He pursued a graduate degree from Mayo College, Ajmer. 

He was the son of legendary actor Raj Kapoor. His mother, Krishna Kapoor was a homemaker. His siblings are Randhir Kapoor, Rajeev Kapoor, Ritu Nanda, and Reema Jain. 

He was married to Neetu Singh. Their children are Ranbir Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.
