Prithvi Shaw is an Indian cricketer. In the year 2011, he was selected to play for Polly Umrigar XI. Prithvi was a part of the Indian Under-19 team, which won the Asia Cup Under-19 tournament.

Prithvi Shaw is an Indian cricketer. He was born on 9 November 1999 in Thane, Maharashtra. His sun sign is Scorpio. He did his schooling from AVS Vidyamandir and Rizvi Springfield High School, Mumbai. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Rizvi College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Mumbai.

Prithvi started playing cricket at the age of 3.

When he was 4 years old, Prithvi’s mother passed away. He was suffering from great emotional pain and his father encouraged him to devote all his time to practicing cricket.

The household’s financial condition improved when Prithvi started getting scholarships. Shiv Sena MLA gave a house to Prithvi’s family which was located near his training centre.

Prithvi’s father has been a great source of inspiration for him.

In the year 2011, he was selected to play for Polly Umrigar XI.

In the year 2013, at the age of 14, he made a record by scoring 546 runs in 330 balls in Harris Shield Elite Division match in Mumbai.

Asia Cup

Prithvi was a part of the Indian Under-19 team, which won the Asia Cup Under-19 tournament.

He has received training under the coach and mentor Rahul Dravid.

In the 2016-2017 season, Prithvi scored his first century of 120 runs for Mumbai against Tamil Nadu in the Ranji Trophy.

Making records

In January 2018, he led the Indian team to victory in the ICC Under-19 World Cup which was held in New Zealand.

He is the first Indian cricketer to score a century in both formats of Ranji Trophy and Duleep Trophy & Test.

Prithvi is the 15th Indian cricketer to score a century on Test debut.
